The LG50 is a station branding graphics engine that can insert Static or Animated Logos, Digital-style Clocks and Text into Serial Digital Video. It is a real-time graphics engine with built-in downstream linear Keyer which supports multiple layers allowing several logos, clocks and texts together on screen. There is also an analogue preview output.
Clocks and Logos are easily created Windows XP/98/NT/2000 Software which comes as part of the package, from any graphic Files or Video Capture. For on-air clocks, the time reference comes from EBU/SMPTE Timecode. The LG-50 works in both 625/50 and 525/60 PAL/NTSC - and there is also the an HD version available.
Racks and enclosures are available (RK-6 series) to house 1 card, 3 cards with single PSU, 4 cards with dual PSU or 6 cards with single PSU with comprehensive control capabilities via serial, IP and GPI. The RK6 series rack frame is also compatible with DSK-2000 series SDI Downstream Linear Keyer cards.
